The Hitachi on my clit is boring.
My orgasm is juicy and boring, I think of CVS.
The cooing and cuddling is my favorite part
and for the last four months it’s been boring.
I want to talk about how much better sex is now,
and still its boring - the sex and the talking about sex,
the ice cream and thinking about eating ice cream.
All the flavor’s gone bad, in the jizz and in playing frisbee,
and sleeping each night gets boring between nightmares.
It’s boring to think about separation from the good -
to ask it why it won’t leave the gaps under my fingernails,
to ask how it’s gotten everywhere, spilled like the last packet of oatmeal
when you’re trying to get out the door.
And then oats kick around the kitchen floor and get dusty,
and you find one in the bathroom after a year,
completely untouched by an ant or time,
staring at you, daring you to eat it.
