in the Secret Company of Fishes

they read the homeless wild sensed books

they offer, divinely, a tea party, feed the Fishes clotted cream,

the Fishes eat themselves as Fish

read the books, that, like axes break the skulls of ice,

the shining skin of shellfish, a scar re-formed as an island of ice, a book put

down in a box for members only registration in the re-form of sticky

notes that stings the skin of collected pages

a burning inkfilled Fish an octopus hidden under evil dresses

an ocean of regression and regrets steaming the Fishes the menu of

                centuries ; a time for be-coming

justified

        just fine

                so sad sorry

carry someone

care for them unknowing

know no thing of carry the Names of the Berries ; raspberries

cloudberries sea buckthorn ; in the Arms and the

                Mouth of the Bear

unknowing thereof

the Meaning of Care

the Meaning of Cage

carry someone

care for the unknown

know no better know not how cages of care

dis-solve into melting the iron of lungs as the wind burn

out into

care

carry caresses in secrets sneaker

like the sneaky march of/f ; the Bear

lost in the marchland, embraced by the cage, a wall in the

skin, an arm around fasting and feasting as Nights carry

… the care of,

                        Strawberries.

1 Day

the Fish is per-mitted

the Fish is leaving

the Fish is picked up

allowed to come home

only for the day but only

Home is not

at home

the left over Fish

try to comply

1 lost anger

1 angry loss

the Mother of the Fish must throw

                a way

all the Food

touched by the Fish

the Hands of the Fish lights the Wrath

What did you say, said the Mother

Do not say so, said the Mother

the Fish do not re-member

What It Said.

100 days later the Fish

is re-mitted
